The 2015 Chapters Regional Conference (CRC) will be July 23-25 in Memphis, the home of FedEx, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Grizzlies, and the King of Rock and Roll (he’s not really dead, by the way). We have a great event planned….and we’ll get some ASHRAE work done, too.
We’ll be staying at the newly renovated Sheraton Downtown; it’s connected to our Convention Center, a short trolley ride from Beale Street, and they’re charging us a really good rate. The room rate is $130 per day, plus $18 per day valet parking. The room block is open (it closes 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2015) so go ahead and register for the hotel at:

Golf on Wednesday afternoon at a good local course. If you’re interested, contact Shawn Bodkin at stbodkin@trane.com (901-345-6000).
The Welcome Party will be at the Smithsonian-affiliated Rock and Soul Museum on Beale Street. We’ll then eat at Blues City Café on Beale Street.
The Friday Banquet will start with a tour of the National Civil Rights Museum, then we’ll walk across the parking lot for a feast at Central BBQ. Who knows, we may get lucky…maybe Elvis will drop by (he’s not really dead).
We’ll also have at least one good PDH Session planned:
• Case Studies in Engineering Ethics led by Mike Bilderbeck
• Technical Tour of the newly completed Bass Pro Shop at the Memphis Pyramid. Don’t yawn…..it’s an amazing facility
So come and have a great time in Memphis; see old friends and make some new friends.
