On Tuesday evening, March 3, our own Walter Law spoke to the student chapter on the topic of Professional Engineering. Walter presented a brief presentation on the phases of design and construction, and supplemented that with various samples of construction documents, including ductwork, piping, and controls. He related some of the imperfections of the process, and offered discussion about several projects at the University of Tennessee that he has worked on.
The customary pizza dinner was enjoyed by all; approximately 10 - 12 people were in attendance, including the Chapter Advisor, Dr. Bill Miller.
