This winter the ASHRAE Student Group at the University of Tennessee in partnership with the ASME Student Group have volunteered several times with the L&N STEM Academy (The science, technology, engineering, and math magnet school for Knox County Schools) to discuss engineering as a college degree and to do various experiments and competitions. Pictured are ASHRAE and ASME student members working with L&N STEM students on a mouse trap car race.
We look forward to continuing our relationship with the L&N STEM academy for many years to come, and hope to see some of the students become involved locally as a Professionals some day!!!
